The Hall
Come see the hall in all its festive finery. Marvel at how the table would have been set for Christmas dinner in the Edwardian times, see what sort of games and gifts were popular back in the 1900s and count all of the Christmas trees as you wander through the rooms.
The grand but comfortable hall consists mainly of late Victorian and Edwardian extensions made by Colonel Gascoigne, based around a Regency-period core.
Visitors can bask in the ambience of this charming country home, giving a taste of the lives of the English upper classes in the early 1900s. Restored servants’ rooms also explore the lives of the staff that helped run this house. Upstairs of the house unfortunately is closed during The Christmas Experience.
